Aloy returns
It’s perhaps the most obvious of all PlayStation 5 reveals, but Horizon Forbidden West is the latest project from Guerrilla Games, bringing Aloy’s imaginative post-apocalyptic world to Sony’s next-gen console. The trailer shows the heroine embarking on an all-new adventure, filled with robo-dinos and some of the most vibrant grass we’ve ever seen grace a console.

Wish they showed gameplay. The 1st one wasn't good, so I was hoping they learned their lessons and tried to make an actual good game this time.

There might be co-op in the game as far as I can tell. Guerrila said that the 2nd game will have co-op. I guess we'll know more closer to release date.
I fully expect a PC version after the PS5 release.
Horizontal Zero Dawn is my favorite game on PS4.

Don’t know why anyone is surprised. It’s obvious this game was in the making. It was nice to see some footage, but no date... well this is not launch-relative info, at least for me.
There is no way this game even launches in 2021. Any game that felt confident enough to be able to make it for 2021 stated the year. Only Hitman III dared state “January”.
This is also the kind of game you want to release either near June/July or September/October to maximize sales.
My prediction is. At least, September 2022.

Loved the first game.. It is going to be my next one. I still have first game. I dont sell my favourite games like many people does. I keep my favourite games only. Can't wait!
I loved the first one and this looks even better, although it looks great I am always a bit sceptical about underwater levels I have confidence GG will nail it so fingers crossed.
I was planning not to buy a PS5. This is the only game that could change my mind. Horizon is a masterpiece.
@Tharsman @roe @Octane @HollowSpectre No release date or even a vague release window yet sadly. I suspect this will end up being either a Fall/Winter 2021 release, or sometime in 2022.
Hopefully this means the game will be more polished and less buggy upon release, while still delivering an amazing story and gameplay.
@KidBoruto I doubt it. Early 2021 makes sense. They always have a big game in March, April or May, and Horizon 2 is the perfect way to keep the momentum going. I don't think a game like Demon's Souls can fill that role, that feels more like a January or February release to me. And Sony usually has two big games every year, so for 2021 it's Horizon 2 and something else.
@Octane I would love for you to be right about the Early 2021 date, but the fact they did not date the game at all seriously worries me.
@KidBoruto Sony doesn't confirm release dates in advance. I remember that God of War was a big question mark until Sony one day simply said; it's coming in three months from now.
Let's put it this way, what else will they release next year? Because I don't think they want a repeat of the PS4, which was kinda notorious for a lacklustre launch period. No big game at all next year sounds very unlikely to me.
